Mika joined Brann in 2016. Mika has previously worked as a patent attorney and as an examiner at the Swedish Patent Office. Her expertise is in signal processing, image processing, user interfaces, computer systems and computer implemented methods, optics and internet gaming. She also has experience in working with medical technology inventions. Through her experience as a patent attorney and examiner, she has a well-developed sense of identifying, creating and prosecuting intellectual property rights. Mika offers advisory services to assist her clients in handling the challenges they may face in the field of intellectual property, such as challenges related to business development, technology development or entry into new markets. Mika strives to, in close dialogue with the client, understand the client’s goals, challenges and needs to be able to provide the best advice on the intellectual property related actions to be taken, or not taken, to maximize the clients business value in every specific situation.
