Project Description

Ellen Stavbom

Partner – European Patent Attorney

Ellen has been employed by Brann since 2015 but this is the second time around. Between 2002 and 2006 we had the pleasure to host her competence before she started as IP counsel at GE Healthcare (now Cytiva). Ellen offers a wide competence and a lot of experience within the technical field. Mainly within mechanics, electronics and MedTech.

Not only is she handling the general assignments such as writing patent applications and handling IP portfolios, she is also experienced and well recommended in the field of strategic IP planning. Ellen provides IP advise relating to for example freedom-to-operate, design around and infringement analyses. Ellen handles oppositions at the European Patent Office and has thorough experience in oral proceedings before the European Patent Office. Ellen approaches every case with meticulous efficiency and very good analytical ability. She never misses a deadline and she values to find an optimized and custom-made IP strategy together with her clients.

Her spare time is spent singing and playing the violin. Or outdoors with her family, preferably playing beach volleyball.
