Irina Demina

Patent Attorney

Irina joined Brann in 2022. Prior to that she had worked for two years as a patent consultant at a large IP firm.

Before taking the step into the world of patents, for over seven years Irina conducted interdisciplinary research at the John Innes Centre (UK) and Stockholm University. Thus, her special technical expertise spreads across several areas such as plant biology, molecular biology, cell biology, genetic engineering, biochemistry and microbiology. Irina has also read chemistry and is experienced in handling chemical inventions.

At Brann Irina provides IP support to a broad variety of clients within Life Sciences. With a curious mindset and a drive to explore, Irina will assist you by providing bespoke solutions for your business – you can expect a well-structured analytical approach with results presented in a clear and pedagogical manner.

Irina has passed the EQE pre-examination and is currently studying to become a fully authorised European Patent Attorney.

In her spare time Irina enjoys dancing salsa, learning languages and exploring art exhibitions.
