BRANN AB is a modern, innovative and personal company with a non-hierarchical organisation and short decision-making routes. Our company is compact enough to allow us to know one another well, which means that we can quickly - without unnecessary bureaucracy and complications - call together specialists to set up competent teams to handle even the most complex and multifaceted IPR issues that arise among our clients.

At Brann, specialists work either in the patent department or the legal department, which handles trademarks, design, commercial contracts and domain names. Both disciplines play a prominent role at all our offices as we are a full-service providers in the field of intellectual property rights.

The patent department is divided up naturally into sections according to areas of technology and knowledge. These sections are run by section managers, who join forces with the Head of the Legal Department, the CFO and the CEO to make up the company management team. These sections that drive our business forward and hold responsibility for profitability are supported by staff from the finance, IT, technology and reception departments. Another important department at the company is the Administration Department. This department uses Patricia, our business system, to register, monitor and handle all deadlines, and also deals with annual trademark renewals.

Most of our employees are shareholders in the company. They appoint a Board comprising both internal and external members.

Brann has been a Swedish public limited company since 1949, and has therefore filed annual reports every year with the Swedish Companies Registration Office. The company has returned profits every year, and has full-coverage liability insurance policies and credit facilities. Our auditors are considered to be some of the very best in the business. Currency exposure is continuously protected. Brann is ranked in the very highest class by independent credit ranking institutions and has never been subject to a court action for non-payment of debts.
