Freedom to operate

A ”Freedom to Operate” analysis refers to the process of clearing a product from possible infringement by searching the patent literature in order to discover any patents that might prevent commercialising a product. Should interfering patent rights be discovered the product might have to be redesigned, or a license obtained, and Brann can be of assistance in either process.
